EcoPlace Organics: Local and organic food

It's My EcoPlace

It is with true passion that I get to share a London gem with you today. It’s not every day that I get to combine my love for food, my interest in organics and my desire for London all in one post, but with EcoPlace Organics, that’s exactly what I get to do today.

EcoPlace Organics delivers local, certified organic produce, baking items and extra treats to your front door or your workplace when you place an order online. I love it because it adds an important convenience to the life of a busy mom.

Traditional grocery shopping can sometimes be overwhelming. You know the right foods to buy but they’re not always available and often the choices are daunting. With EcoPlace Organics the tough decision-making is done for you and delivered to your home. How easy is that?

There’s nothing like fresh-from-the-field produce that is not only local, but organic too. What’s more amazing is having it delivered right to your front door! EcoPlace Organics is an excellent choice for busy families that provides peace of mind that you’re feeding your family only the best!

EcoPlace Organics was started by Londoner Emily Peat. Emily is a Civil Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and she is extremely passionate about local and organic eating as well as supporting our local farmers.

Emily developed the idea to gather produce from local organic farms, baked goods from Organic Works bakery and other fair-trade organic items and package it all up in one convenient bag. It comes delivered in a renewable resource fiber bag and arrives on your door step the very same day that Emily picks it up from the source. You can count on your delivery to be super fresh and super yummy!

I was so excited when I arrived home and found my package at my doorstep. Delivery was made at the exact date and time I was told. Since the items included in the delivery are always chosen based on seasonal and local availability you don’t need to choose any ingredients or make any decisions and what you receive is a surprise*. This added to my excitement as I couldn’t wait to see what I was getting.

Here is what I received:

• 1 bunch of green onions from Hyde Park
