Halloween Round Up

Here we go guys…it’s Halloween time; ghost, goblins and ghouls. With the big day, just five days away, there’s lots to do in the city to celebrate. And the good news? You don’t have to wait five days to celebrate.

Here is a list of fun Halloween-themed events to do with your kiddies around the city. Enjoy!


  • Date: October 23 – 30, 2015
  • Time: 6:00 – 9:00 PM
  • Location: Storybook Gardens
  • Cost: $15 per child, free for adults
  • About: Get your costumes and flashlights ready and join us for a night of spooky (but not too spooky!) fun at the park! Trick or Treat through the village and visit with 20 costumed storybook characters. Try the Leaping Lily pad under moonlight and enjoy three amusement rides included with admission (some height restrictions apply).

  • Date: Friday, October 30, 2015
  • Time: 6:00 – 9:00 PM
  • LocationLondon Gymnastics Academy (LGA)
  • Cost: $5 for first child, $2.50 for each child after (Adults & children under 2 are free). Food, beverage and game tickets will be sold at the event.
  • About: Bring your ghouls and goblins to a safe environment for an evening of family fun as they trunk or treat, play games and so much more! Local businesses and families will be on site handing out candy from decorated vehicles! Local police and fire will also be onsite!

  • Date: Saturday, October 31, 2015
  • Time: 10:00 am  – 5:00 PM
  • Location: London Children’s Museum
  • Cost: Regular admission
  • About: Bring your little ones to the Children’s Museum to celebrate Halloween in a fun way. Kids show off their costumes and go on a museum scavenger hunt for a special treat; make some slime, experiment with pumpkins, and make your own monster!

  • Date: Saturday, October 31, 2015
  • Time: 1:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Location: Westmount Mall, Lower Level Centre Court
  • Cost: $2 donation (for photos) proceeds going to Osteoporosis Canada
  • About: Have a SPOOK-TACULAR time decorating pumpkins, face painting, photo opp and trick or treating at participating stores.

  • Location: Fanshawe Pioneer Village, 2609 Fanshawe Park Rd. E.
  • Cost: $11 + fees per person – Advance reservations required
  • About: A new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic horror tale, this year’s Hayride tells the fearful fable of a scientist, Henry Jekyll, determined to separate the good and evil inside himself into two unique beings. As the evil Edward Hyde begins to gain more control over their shared body, will Dr. Jekyll be lost forever? This year, The Nutty Bavarian food truck will be on site selling freshley roasted nuts, giant warm pretzels, hot dogs & more!
